Unchecked failures exposed by LetterPdfGenerator. InvalidLetterException carries an input field path, while PdfGenerationException represents PDF composition, layout or post-processing failure. Both extend LetterPdfException. Convenience builders can also reject immediate arguments with standard Java argument/state exceptions.
